Author: Via a somewhat convoluted surfing route I stumbled across this cool time-lapse movie of the Moon coming out of the recent eclipse and setting at dawn over San Francisco!
Just thought I’d share. Anyone else find “accidental imagings” of the event?

Space shuttle Endeavour windshield damaged in orbit by space debris
Local news here in Florida is reporting that a micro-meteorite has damaged Endeavors window #2. The crew is in no immediate danger.

ISS Computer Equipment Sabotaged
Wow. I haven’t blogged in a while but this caught my eye and I don’t see anyone has picked it up yet.
NASA says it has found wires which may have been deliberately cut on computers bound for the international space station.
Moon/Venus Conjuntion
I almost missed this. I was putting the dog out the back door and happened to see it just before it set. I quickly grabbed my camera and tripod. Cannon EOS 300D 100-300mm zoom telephoto. 21:42:43 EDT.

Note the haze and skyglow of the Florida summer as it compares with a similar photo from mid-winter.
